My most precious boychuk, you turned big 4 sweet love! You are my ball of fire, my loving, kind soul. There is not a minute in a day where you sit still, you are constantly on the go. Mama often wishes she had your energy 🙂 You light up a room and I believe with my whole heart that you will keep doing so as you grow. You are very much a mama’s boy and you don’t ever pass up an opportunity to spend time with your mama. I enjoy your company immensely! You love to sing, you are very vocal and pretty loud 🙂 You LOVE to build! Everything from legos to puzzles, magformers, dominoes and even books sometimes. Your construction often times leaves your mama and daddy in awe! We often ask you, “did you build that all by yourself” and you would proudly reply, “Yap”. You have not been a big fan of art as far as drawing and painting goes, but this year you have learned to appreciate it a little bit more. You love playing ball, you love remote control cars, you love books and school projects. You love to help mama, whether it’s folding laundry or helping with anything in the kitchen. You love to bake with mama, as you know your reward will end up being cookie dough 🙂 You love to read and you know your letters very well. Your writing skills are improving daily and you are gaining more and more confidence. You have been going to CC with sissy to get used to the classroom environment. It’s difficult for you to sit still during school, but you try every chance you get to go and you have been improving tremendously. You can be very shy around people you don’t know and it takes you quite a while to warm up to them. You have lots of “lovies” including your two baby blankets 🙂 You can’t go to sleep without them and your dino, but lately it’s been every soft toy you own and mama things it’s precious 🙂 You love your sisters! You play with Bella so nicely and you always compliment sissy Amelia on how cute she is. You love entertaining her but since you move so fast from place to place, you startle her and she just smiles. You light up when she smiles at you and you tell mommy or daddy that she smiled at you 🙂 You are a pretty good eater and will try mostly anything. You love “special treats”. Every time mommy or daddy leave the house and come back, you always run out asking for a special treat. You never pass up an opportunity to say “goodbye” whenever anyone leaves and if you miss a chance you get very sad, so mommy and daddy make sure that you always get a chance to say goodbye 🙂 We love you so very much our precious boy! You have a very soft heart and mommy and daddy prays that it will carry you to be the shining light unto those that are around you. We thank God for you daily and can’t wait to see what the next year holds for you. We love you very much our little boychuk! Kisses! Happy 4th Birthday our love!
Some of the funny sayings:
While daddy pulls out the scale, “Daddy, how many do you pound?”
You sneezed and before mommy could say “God bless you” you said “I just God Blessed me on the sleeve”.
“Mine is gooder” you would often say that about your building creation to sissy and she would always correct you to “better” Joshy, not “gooder”

Sweet little love of mama’s, you are THREE! You are an amazing little being and we love you more than words can describe! You are loving, giving, hugging and kissing little bug. There is not a time that you will go to sleep without giving all of us hugs and kisses and telling us how much you love us! You love anything that’s messy 🙂 Your favorite activities are playdough, blue sand, tracing projects, jumping on the trampoline, building things, playing hide and seek, going down slides at the park, riding your scooter, swinging and so much more. You love to read books that have anything to do with cars or airplanes, especially diggers or any type of construction vehicles. You are very passionate about life and get excited about anything and everything! You appreciate the little things in life, whether it’s a bug or a snack, you will have a load of emotions and joy, it’s so precious 🙂 I treasure these moments baby! You know your letters and numbers (1-10) but you can count forever. It’s precious to listen to you count to 20 while you are in time out while you try to rush through it as fast as you can, so you can be done with it. You have a high threshold for pain, you will bump and bruise yourself and still go on about your day as if nothing every happened. Just a short while ago you broke your arm, on January 3rd to be exact. You cried pretty hard but were such a trooper to have them straighten your little arm without any type of meds. You profusely said “no” every time they offered you a pain relief. Mama felt like she was in more pain just watching you hurt. The next day, you were back to normal, just realizing that you can go on without using a left arm, even today, you forget you have it available and you tinker with things without using it. I can’t help but smile and remind you that you have your other arm to use now. And all you say is “Oh” and smile. You love food! Your favorites are pasta, pizza, yogurt, hummus, carrots, any time of fruit, wheat thins, pancakes, meat, fish and just about any dessert. When you get upset now days, you drop your head and stump one foot, it’s actually very funny to watch you, since it only lasts a minute but you definitely want to make sure that we know you are displeased. You are always on the go, sitting is a foreign concept for you, therefore you just move constantly. You are a pretty good sleeper, occasionally you love to come to mommys and daddys room at night and get comfy right in the middle of our bed. Your head must be on mama’s pillow and you must be tucked in where the blanket will be touching your neck, also your tiny feet must be in mommy’s hand, otherwise you will complain until it’s so. Even when it’s 3 or 4am., I still laugh when you come and try to get all settled in. My sweet bean, I see such a wonderful future for you. You are amazingly smart and you have an outstanding memory. You love your sissy immensely and life for you is just not the same when sissy is not with you. You absolutely LOVE to sing, you sing in the car, on the potty, while you play, pretty much all the time. You love Lincoln Brewster songs and know a lot of them by heart. You sing a lot of sissy’s Classical Conversations songs and have been remembering a lot of the Timeline song as well as history facts. You are my little brilliant baby. I pray for you that God will keep guiding you and help you make the right choice to follow Him all of the days of your life. That you will be his little warrior and bring people to light. Your personality is contagious! We love you our sweet and loving bunny! I love you to the moon and back forever!

Joshua, my little love bug, I can’t believe you are already two years young. As you would sing it “Happy Day Day to you!” I love you my little ball of fire. You have come into this world as a calm and laid back little baby and now you are in full swing healthy, strong and busy little boy. I absolutely love having you and calling you my boy. God has blessed your mommy and daddy over and over when He gave you to us. Daily you find a way to make us laugh. I have never experienced the love that you hold for your mommy. You are a little snuggle buddy : ) and you love your sissy dearly. I can’t count the times a day that you tell each of us “I love you”. Mommy and Daddy knows that your big heart will always love and make this world into a better place : ) You love everyone around you. Just recently you have began to sing and you sing constantly; whether it’s a Christmas song or an ABC song, you sing and your voice is so lovely. You made up the cutest song that consists of only three words “bow bow tincali” and you sing it on daily basis. It has become “Joshy’s song” and we all absolutely adore you signing it.
Your favorite books are The Farm Tales, Halfway Herbert, ABC book, and the Ocean book. You love being read to, but most of the time either as soon as you wake up in the morning or right before bed time. The rest of the time, you are too busy moving around and it’s very difficult for you to sit still through the whole book.
You love food, you will try absolutely anything, but your favorite things ever are cookies, candies, gummies and of course ice cream. You will eat anything to get to any of those things.
You are a great learner and learn pretty quickly, you have shapes and colors mastered. You solidly know about 5 letters, A, B, C, M, P and J. You love to paint, stamp, draw, trace and most of all do science experiments. You favorite one is “the rainbow” baking soda with vinegar. You love to lace something that’s edible, such as cheerios and you still enjoy playing with play dough quite a bit. You are mastering riding a scooter and a trike which you used to be scared of but now becoming a pro.
You move so fast that often times you bump your head on things and mommy and daddy nearly cry every time you get hurt. We always remind you to “watch your step” when you walk or run. We know for a fact that your Creator is head over hills for you, because we see how often you miss things with your head just millimeters away. He protects you constantly.
Your newest excitement has been light switches. You are now tall enough to reach some of them in our house and you fight to play with them. The ones you can’t reach, you grab a stool and use it until you can reach it. I can’t help but laugh at how driven you are when you want something.
You love cats! You always get super excited when we take you to the pet shop to look at cats, you can spend 30 minutes easy just looking at them and saying their names.
You have gone on the potty twice already and that was your own initiative. Mommy and daddy are very proud of you for being such a big boy. You love taking naps, you look forward to them and you absolutely must have your blankies with you. There are two that you love and will not settle for any other blankies but those. You still have your paci, only during sleepy time though. Mommy and daddy are having a hard time taking it away from you: ( I suppose we just don’t want you to grow up. You love cars and anything that has a switch on it. You are our little firecracker. Your mommy and daddy prays for you to become a man of God and to remain the soft hearted person that you are. We love you forever our little bunny! Kisses and hugs forever!

I am ONE!
Yes, I can easily say I am one year old…well, I can’t quite say it yet, but I am working on it : ) I had a very fun birthday party. It was for me and my sissy. There were so many balloons, I could not believe it, and all the people that came to celebrate with us, oh it was a blast! I have been a very busy boy, learning letters, loving to play with cars, singing, dancing, learning to write, more like doodle but to me it’s writing and drawing 😉 The biggest news, is I am walking : ) I took my first steps on January 22nd and have been walking ever since. Today, it’s more like running, I love to run. I think I will run a marathon with mommy one day, oh I can’t wait : ) I love to read and I have so many favorite books! My very favorite right now, is “Three Little Mermaids” The reason it’s a favorite is because each page has a moving object and that just makes it a book for me. I also love “Curious George” books, because I can feel the pictures, like lions and giraffes and oh so many more. I love playing with cars, I just crawl and make the sounds of the engine as I roll them down the hallway. Airplanes are also my favorites, every time I see one, I make a “whooooo” sound and throw my little point finger in the air and show it in the sky. I also have two airplane toys that I play with at home and I always make sure that they also have the sound : ) One of the things I have been doing lately is playing with letters and numbers and when I see a letter I just shout it out. So far, I have mastered A, B and J. As soon as I spot one, I just say them, it’s so much fun! My mommy thinks I will be some sort of an engineer, because I love to watch and study things that move, or open and close, or turn. I get so mesmerized by things like that, it’s fascinating! I love to clap when I do something good like share with my sissy or put the right piece into the puzzle : ) I love to roll on the floor and get tickled, I laugh and laugh : ) I love my mommy and daddy and when I don’t see them for a little bit, I get so excited to see them, I dance : ) When I get unhappy about something, I stump my foot a little bit and hop, mommy and daddy think it’s pretty entertaining. I just recently learned how to give high fives and blow kisses, it’s so much fun 🙂 High fives are my favorite. Well, this will have to do for now, much more later. Hugs and kisses.

I am 11 Months
11 Months is only one little month away from 12 and you know what 12 is, it’s a whole year. I am so excited to be a year Sometimes I wonder what that feels like, but I sure am glad I get to find out soon My sissy Bella, just turned 3 years and she was sure excited, so I am just awaiting my turn What have I been up to lately? I have mastered crawling and can go really fast. If I want something very bad, I will even take small steps to get there. I hold on to furniture and walk around. Oh oh oh, I love TV, is that just crazy? When I see that mama or daddy will play something for me and sissy, I light up and scream “yeah”! They can’t help but laugh. What can I say, I am a funny little guy. I love to read, my favorite book is “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” and I also love the alphabet book. I point at pictures and ask “What is that?” Mommy and daddy just smile and tell me what it is. My mama asked me to point out apple the other day in that book and I did, the same thing went for other things, like pear and lion. Oh, I almost forgot, I have another favorite and it’s the one I picked out at the book store, it’s called “Are you my mommy”? I make mommy read that one to me multiple times per day. She doesn’t seem to mind. I also love taking the stairs, I try to go down, but mommy and daddy don’t seem to like that idea. Now, onto the big stuff… I have celebrated my first Christmas. Wow! What a fun Holiday! I could tell my parents were very excited about it, but I had no idea how much I would like it too. First, let’s talk about the Christmas tree. It was so much fun to play with ornaments and all that was under the tree, let’s just say it was a lot of fun. Then there were stockings full of goodies and later on I found out that all the pretty presents under the tree were for sissy and me. I got so many fun presents, I don’t quite understand what this holiday is all about yet, but I sure know that I like it. Mommy and daddy read the story of Christmas to me many times, but I am sure I will grasp it better next year 🙂 Then I heard there was a New Year, but to me it didn’t mean much, because I was in bed at 8P.M. I heard my mommy and daddy and uncle and aunty and nana and papa all had a great time playing games and eating yummy appetizers. I only got to taste some of them in the morning- yum! Well, I feel like I have been talking and talking so until next time. Hugs and kisses! Yours truly, Joshy 😉

10 Months and BIG news!
I can’t hold my excitement any longer, I am crawling J I could never imagine how fun crawling can be, but I sure am glad I got to find out. I go everywhere, I especially like to touch things that I see. The most exciting things so far are door stops, plugs, night lights and doors. Mommy says it’s a good thing our plugs are secured. I have noticed door stops disappearing on me lately, I wonder if someone moves them or takes them off…hmmmm? This month I had my first official and cruel cold, with fever going up to 103.7 Mommy and daddy looked very worried, but they took such great care of me that I got all better in no time. I have been a pretty poor sleeper lately and I don’t know why, but I just don’ t enjoy taking naps, especially by myself. Mommy and daddy are trying very hard to help me understand that it’s ok for me to go to sleep by myself, I just have a very difficult time learning to do that L I am all talk and like to use my index finger to point at things. I learned to sit up from lying position, that has been so helpful. I also like to stand and hold on to things. One of my favorite things is to hold on to something and jump, so much fun, I can’t help but grin J I have said the following words so far: daddy, mama, Bella, nana, papa, water, ball, tree, fan, light, spoon, Buddy, kitty, book, and milk. I am also learning what “No” means. I am not a big fan of that word, but I do my best to listen and mommy and daddy seem very proud after they tell me know and I don’t touch it. Guess what I got to do recently? I got to go pick out a Christmas tree! What a fun trip it was, at first I was not exactly sure what was going on, but once I saw that the tree was up in our house, I got very excited and of course first things first- I had to touch it. It was so much fun! Then I saw these cool looking things called ornaments and I wanted to play with all of them. Unfortunately that did not happen, because I was told that word again “no, no” so I have been a really good boy and have not played with any of the ornaments. I think I like this holiday, looks like I will be getting a lot of presents 🙂 I can’t wait 🙂

Time is flying, 9 months here I come 🙂
This month has been sooo exciting! I not only go to go to this thing called “Pumpkin Patch”, I also got to ride on my first train. It was so much fun! I just kept looking at all of the different things around me and thinking, wow, there is so much to see, trees, flowers, tractors, pumpkins. Mommy did a little photoshoot of us at the pumpkin patch and I had a blast. If you think that pumpkin patch was it, oh no, I also got to go to Apple Hill. I have been hearing all about it and the next thing I knew I was there. I have not seen this many apples in my life, they were just hanging on trees and nobody was even eating them, so I thought, oh if I could just get my hands on them. Well, I didn’t get my hands on those exact ones, but mama sure fed me some delicious pureed apples when we came home. I have 8 teeth and two more growing 🙂 I have been eating food in little pieces, I even got to try eggs the other day and loved them! I have been getting stronger and stronger and my balance is improving each day. My mommy bought me this handy dandy walker and I have even made a step all on my own once 😉 I can’t wait to walk, what a fun day it will be. I love to explore, so I am looking forward to all that I can get my hands on. I think it makes mommy and daddy a little nervous. Other than going to the pumpkin patch and apple hill, I also got to go to the fountains, which is a nice and friendly local place. Oh, I wish you could see how beautiful they are, shooting up in all kinds of colors. I loved every bit of it. For my 9 months photoshoot, mommy put me in my Halloween costume and I sure looked cute, but I will let you be the judge.

I am 8 months 🙂
Wow, 8 months already, where has the time gone? I seem to be growing very fast and my parents seem to just adore me more each day. My interest in walking does not cease to amaze them. I think I have it down, but the only issue that still remains is my balance. I have two very strong legs with “thunder” thighs but the balance is just not quite there. I do not give up and keep trying. I have made huge progress though, I am pulling myself up now and that my friends is a pretty big deal and I get such a kick out of it. I just stand in my crib and smile 🙂 I am a happy fella most of the time, it’s these weird things called teeth that get me out of my element sometimes. I just can’t control the pain, so I get upset and cry a little until my parents put this special gel on my teeth. One thing I need to share is I am crazy about food, I love to eat! If I could eat every minute of the day, I would 🙂 Mommy still can’t believe how great of an eater I am, I guess my sissy was never as interested in food. I can easily eat a cup and a half of pureed food and then whatever else I ask for after that. It’s so fun to try new things, I don’t believe I have found something I did not like, everything is so yummy. If you are wondering about crawling progress, there is not much. I am just one of those guys that wants to walk, so I am thinking of skipping this whole crawling business and moving on to walking. I love my sissy more and more and I have been very vocal lately. When I need something or simply want to be picked up, I say “mama” and throw my cute little hands up in the air, the chances are pretty much 100% is that I will be picked up. What can I say, my mommy can’t resist my cuteness. I love life, family and food!
August 16, 2012
I turned 7 months
I am quite a chunk, weighing almost 21lbs. What can I say, I love to eat and my mommy says I eat a lot. Pretty much, whatever I am given, I usually eat and then some. So far, I get one other food than milk only once a day. My favorites are the fruit concoctions, especially plums. I also love apple and pear combo and of course peaches. If you saw me take my first bite, you would think that I don’t like it, but it just takes me a little to warm up and then there is no stopping J I have also been enjoying some cheerios and puffs that mama buys for me. I can eat so many of those! If you have never tried them, please do, you will not regret it.
I love to walk, of course with help, because my balance is still a little bit off and I am not that excited about crawling. I hear my sissy was pretty close to crawling at this age, but not me. I am definitely taking my time, plus I overheard mommy say how she is not looking forward to putting up the gates again, so I figured I would give her more time 😉 I sure am a happy fella. I like to smile a lot and every time I see my sissy, I just giggle, because I am so excited to see her. I love that girl so much and when we play together, I can’t imagine anything more fun J
I am currently wearing 12 months clothes, nothing else seems to fit, but I suppose it’s normal since I think I will be the tall type. Mommy is a little concerned about all the clothes she bought me as it seems they might be too small by the time she was planning for me to wear them.
I also grew out of my car seat, so now I get to sit like a big boy, in a big seat, still facing the rear, but oh it’s so much better. I can see so many more things, like trees and cars J Speaking of trees, I can say “tree” and I say it pretty clear. I also say “daddy” and “tsya-tsya” and “Bella”. I think I will be quite the talker. The only word that has been tough is “mommy” or “mama”. I can also drink from the grown-up cup, it has been a lot of fun. My hair has been growing and I get it spiked after bathie time every night. Mama gets a kick out of styling it for me J I have three teeth that are in and about three more on it’s way, I definitely have some pretty painful days L I went to the San Francisco zoo for the first time and loved it. I have also been turning onto my belly in my sleep and I just get so unhappy when I do that, so instead of turning back onto my back, I just cry for someone to come and put me back. I am quite the excitement over here 🙂

I am HALF a YEAR young!
It has been six months, since I joined the world. Wow, six full months. It has been absolutely great! I have loved every day of my life so far and am looking forward to all of the excitement that life has got to offer. I don’t have quite as many mile stones, but I certainly have a few up my sleeve. Guess what, guess what? I have tried a banana (July 23, 2012). That’s right, a real banana! If you are wondering what I thought about it…well, at first it was the weirdest thing, there was a spoon and a bowl, I got all confused, but somehow just knew that I needed to open my mouth. I have watched my parents and sissy for a while now, so I thought I could master it pretty good and I kind of did, I am just not sure if I love the texture, the milk just flows and this one, I actually have to kind of chew. Do you want to know what else I have tried…cheerious! Can you believe it, those little rings…? My mommy thought I should try them and she gave me a couple. After it took me a while to even pick it up, she just put one in my mouth and wow, what an interesting sensation. The texture was definitely weird, but I liked them a lot. I got to have three! My mommy said that I get to try avocado next, I am so excited, I wonder what it tastes like. Also, I have been confidently sitting and growing out of my little “bee” as my mommy and daddy call it, so probably in the next week or so, that will be gone and I will move on to sitting on the floor instead of a cozy little bouncer. But there is always a bumbo seat and I sure like to sit in it. So, another huge thing that happened to me, I said my first word! The funniest thing, it’s the same exact word that sissy said. I said “wa” when I saw water before my bath time J My mommy could not believe it, but I was pretty proud of myself at the time J and gave her the biggest grin. I LOVE bathie time, as soon as mommy says, it’s bathie time, I light up and can barely breathe out of excitement. I have been slowly getting introduced to sippy cups and I believe I can master those things pretty well, about three weeks ago, mommy gave it to me and I drank all of the milk from it, so I don’t think I will have many issues trying to figure it out J I love giving mommy kisses, they are a bit harsh, but I can’t contain myself because I love her so much and just go for it. I think they might be a bit slobbery 😉

FIVE months and couting…
Where does the time fly? Can you believe I am five months young? I can’t! The only thing that makes sense is the way I am progressing at things, other than that, I just enjoy every day and greet it with a smile J I am a very “happy go lucky” as my mommy calls me. So, I have some big news. On June 21st, I cut my first tooth and just two days later, I had two teeth. It’s been tricky getting used to something in my mouth, I constantly play with them, but I think I like having those things in my mouth. On July 7th, I turned from my back onto my belly and did not like it at all. Every time I do that now, I just cry and don’t even bother turning onto my back. I know I can, I just don’t feel like it, so I cry until mommy or daddy come and turn me. For this one, let the drum roll…dun, dun, dun….I set up without support on July 9th! Wowsers, can you believe it? I am sitting up without anybody or anything helping me, just me Joshua, all by myself. It has been such fun to sit up and play with my toys, once in a while I lean too much to the side and fall over, but other than that, I am a pretty solid guy. You want to know what else is funny, my sissy set up at the exact same time, exactly a week before she turned 6 months, so it’s been fun sharing my mile stones with her J Have I mentioned that I absolutely adore my sissy! I light up every time she is in sight, I just want to kiss her all the time. I also found my feetsies and I LOVE them! I chew on them every time I get a chance. Who said a baby needs toys, if you have feetsies, there isn’t a better chew toy. You know what else happened, I got to go to Santa Cruz for the first time and it was a lot of fun. I got to see the ocean for the very first time and loved it. I slept only for a short while and then just set in the stroller and admired the sound of it, sounds so pretty. My mommy and daddy tell me I was a really good boy and did very well being away from home and everything J I am pretty proud of myself too J Here are the latest measurements from the Dr’s office, I am 28” long, which puts me in 96th percentile (I am thinking I might be a tall fella), I weigh 18lbs 15oz which is in 68th percentile, so I seem to be on a good track to growing big and strong as my sissy says- just Love that girl!
May 16, 2012
FOUR months here we come!
I have been having nothing but fun growing 🙂 My last Dr.’s visit, which was on April 19th concluded that I am one big fella 🙂 I weighed 15lbs and measured 25″. Apparently I am in the 83 percentile. I couldn’t believe those measurements, but it sure makes me one happy and healthy “Joshua Sir”. Believe it or not, I get called “Sir” a lot around here, I am beginning to think I am a pretty important fella 😉 As to my progress, I am sitting very comfortably in the bumbo seat and have actually been enjoying sitting a lot. I grab and hold on to toys, just about a week ago, I have discovered that I can bring them to my mouth and chew on them. I am also teething and in pain quite often, but I try to not show that I am in pain and tough it while chewing on things. I can even stand now for very short periods at a time, but it’s fun to know that I can stand. Right now I absolutely love playing on my gym mat with all the fun toys hanging down. I talk quite a bit and found my voice on May 7th and have been practicing talking ever since. I keep hearing what a great baby I am, that sure makes me happy. Mommy got this thing called a jumperoo out the other day and put me in it- what a fun little invention. I sure like to sit in it and grab on to toys, I haven’t quite mastered the jumping yet, but I certainly reach the floor to jump whenever I feel like it. I like this whole introduction to new toys. I love my sissy more and more every day, she is very fun to be around and she loves giving me kisses, although sometimes they are pretty wet 😉 She loves to give me a paci, even when mama tells her that I don’t want one at the moment, she still proceeds to give me one, until I spit it out and she tells mama, Joshy does not want a paci (funny girl she is)
Mommy and daddy have been taking me to more places, such as Costco, Nana’s and Papa’s and even to a frozen yogurt. Getting out has been a lot of fun. I love my family more and more each day!
April 16, 2012
I am growing up, THREE months young today!
Oh what fun it is to grow and learn new skills 🙂 I am getting stronger and stronger every day, I can pretty much be carried without any head support for a while and I don’t get tired. My clothes are getting tighter and tighter, I heard mommy say, that I only got to wear some of my outfits only once as I grew out of them very fast. I am getting more chunky and I love to smile. My day is pretty much laid out in this pattern: wake up, eat, smile, sleep…and goes on and on. I like to play on my gym mat more and more, I hit the toys and love listening to music. I love it when mama sings to me or when I hear kids sing. Mama plays music for me every day 🙂 I also love massages and arms and leg exercises. Mama started teaching me colors and shapes and I absolutely love learning as I smile from ear to ear 🙂 Today, mama and nana did a little photoshoot with me, I had a lot of fun as it was on the grass outside. I am very alert and react to all of the sounds and voices. I like to arch my back a lot, my mommy calls me a “little pretzel” I think it’s kind of cute 🙂
March 16, 2012
I am TWO months young!
Can you believe it, it’s has been two months already. I feel like I just got here, but I sure love my family! My mommy keeps telling me that she thinks I am going to be one busy fella and I think she is right 😉 I do like to move a lot and I am not that big on sleeping and even when I do sleep I make sure I keep everyone on their toes, just to make sure they do not forget about me 🙂 You know what I did the other day, that made my mommy laugh, I turned over from my belly unto my back…I guess she was not expecting that, but to me it was not a big deal as I do it all the time now 🙂 I am glad she got some pictures though. Since I am trying to figure out this whole language thing, I have been trying to talk, but for some reason it comes out more like “a goo” Yeah, not exactly how people communicate, but it will have to work for now. My cute sister Bella talks right back to me with “a goo” so we understand each other 🙂 One thing I will share, which I will not tell mama or daddy is I absolutely love these things they call mittens. They are so cozy and keep me warm, I just feel lost without them, so mommy has been nice and puts them on me quite often, of course I don’t tell her that I feel uncomfortable without them, I guess she just knows 🙂

I am ONE month young!
So far things are going good for me, I am loved like no other baby 🙂 Mommy and Daddy take such great care of me. My daily duties are quite simple at this time. I sleep, eat, get carried, smile, and stay awake from time to time. I have been lifting my head more and more, my mommy and daddy get amazed at how well I do 🙂 I try to want to roll over, but just not quite there yet. I am one strong guy and will only keep getting stronger. Today I smiled for the first time and made mama’s day (2/20/12) 🙂 Below you will find a picture of me exactly on the day I turned one month 🙂
Hello World!
January 30, 2012
Hi! I am Joshua and welcome to my page 🙂 I am 8 days young and thought I should write a little bit about my experience in this crazy world since coming out of my mommy’s belly on January 16th. Let me just say, it’s very hectic here with many different sounds. I thought it was so peaceful in my mommy’s belly and then the next thing I knew, I was welcomed into this gigantic world. So far, I like it quite a bit, I get to sleep as much as I want to, eat every 2-3 hours and when I am awake, I always get entertainment, whether from mommy or daddy cooing at me and trying to keep me happy. They keep saying how I am a good baby, so I will just continue doing what I do every day and hopefully that status will stay with me 😉 I have a sister whose name is Bella, she wants to hug me, kiss me and hold me all the time. All I hear is: “I want to hold him, I want to kiss him, I want to hug him”, she is really sweet, but also gets really loud at times. It’s a good thing I got used to hearing her while in my mommy’s belly. I see new things every day and my mommy tries to name them for me so I would know what they are called and what they are for, like the fan and the lights and mommy’s face. I have been spending quite a bit of time at home, which is where I like it best, but I have also been to the Dr. a few times for check ups and that was fun, because I got to see lots of cars and such on the way there and back. It has been raining almost every day since I have come home from the hospital. I think I like outside, at least the fresh air feels good. I hope to go on walks with my family when it gets sunny. I currently weigh 7lbs 9oz, I did drop almost one pound after birth, but that’s normal. As of this morning I have already gained it back and it hasn’t even been a week, my mommy feeds me good 🙂 I am 20” long and have long legs and arms, so I might be a tall fella. My Mommy and Daddy keep calling me handsome and I am not sure what that means yet, but it sounds like a good thing.
I had my first sponge bath on January 20th
